President's Message 2024

I am deeply grateful to have been elected only the fourth person to the position of your State President in our rich history of seventy-eight years.  I pray I can perform my duties to your satisfaction and expectations through Almighty God.  Even though life teaches us that we cannot please everyone, we can accomplish much with your cooperation and dedication to this organization. 

There is a big job ahead for us to keep Georgia State Beauty Culturist League, Inc. solvent and thriving.  Though we've had some setbacks not of our choosing, they have affected the progression of our organization.  We are a unit of one and must push forward to do what we can to continue to grow our membership, education programs, and networking opportunities.  Our pioneers felt the need for such even though the circumstances at that time were different.  The beauty professionals relished the fact that they had something special that would enhance their knowledge in hair care, which wasn't available to them otherwise.  Thus, our charter as Georgia State Beauty Culturist League began in 1946.

We can learn from their original concept that working together in Unity can bring about change.  Cooperation is the key.  Henry Ford once stated that coming together is the beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.

WE can; WE will; WE must.
